Belle Acres Golf Course opened on May 1, of 1930 and is the oldest active course between Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee. Built by Dr. J.P. Terry with the help of Arnold Mears, a pro at Richland Golf Course in Nashville, the course is located in the picturesque countryside of the Upper Cumberland region near Cookeville, Tennessee.

The course offers a varying terrain 2,923 yard (from the longest tees), par 35, 9-hole track and the largest practice facility in the area. Its rolling fairways, well-manicured greens, and strategic bunkers make it a favorite for both local players and visitors exploring Cookeville.
