Battle Ground Golf Club opened on July 4th, 1967, on 160 acres adjacent to Prophetstown State Park in Battle Ground, Indiana. Originally designed by Robert Simmons, the course underwent significant renovation two decades ago under renowned architect Tim Liddy, known for sustainable design practices emphasizing water conservation and minimal chemical use.

The course features four sets of tees ranging from 5,100 yards to nearly 7,100 yards, accommodating golfers of varying skill levels. The layout emphasizes fairness with wide bent grass fairways offering multiple target lines and sizable greens with generous surrounds. Strategic bunkers and thick rough provide challenge for longer hitters, while water hazards come into play on three holes requiring careful attention.

Battle Ground's design balances accessibility with playability through its expansive fairways and large greens, allowing diverse shot options from close range. The property includes a comprehensive practice facility featuring a putting green, short game arena, and practice tee with five target greens, supporting player development and tournament preparation.
