Balmoral Golf Course

Balmoral Golf Course is an 18-hole course located in the lush rolling hills of the Balmoral district on the east side of Red Deer, Alberta. Set in Central Alberta, the course features minimal elevation changes, making it accessible for golfers of all skill levels from beginners to experienced players.

The course layout is characterized by distinct nines: the front nine is wide open and more forgiving, while the back nine presents additional challenges. The course has added multiple tee box options to accommodate various playing abilities. The greens are notably well-maintained and challenging, while practice putting greens allow chipping practice—a feature uncommon at most courses.

Balmoral is walkable and designed with a family-friendly atmosphere. The course maintains good overall conditioning with quality grounds keeping. It operates as a welcoming community-oriented facility, offering golf leagues throughout the week and hosting corporate tournaments. The on-site Clever Crow Restaurant provides dining options for both in-course play and clubhouse service.
