Båstad Golfklubb

Båstad Golfklubb, located on the Bjärehalvön peninsula with views toward Laholmsbukten, was founded in 1930 by Ludvig Nobel. The club features two courses: Gamla Banan (Old Course), which is Sweden's second-oldest 18-hole course, also inaugurated in 1930, and Nya Banan (New Course). The facility is situated in a scenic setting overlooking the bay, offering a traditional golf experience with historical significance. Beyond the courses themselves, Båstad Golfklubb provides comprehensive amenities including a restaurant, pro shop, and training facilities. The club maintains an active competition schedule with various tournaments and match play events throughout the year. The facility caters to golfers of all levels, from juniors to experienced players, with instruction available through PGA professionals and academy programs. Winter training through simulator golf is also offered, allowing year-round play despite Sweden's seasonal climate.
