Aurora Country Club is a private golf course located in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, approximately 45 minutes from downtown. Founded in 1914, the course was designed by renowned architect Thomas Bendelow, a prolific designer during golf's golden age who created numerous exceptional courses throughout the Midwest and across the United States.

The course measures just under 6,800 yards from the back tees and features four different sets of tees to accommodate golfers of varying skill levels. While capable of challenging scratch golfers, the course remains playable and enjoyable for all abilities. Aurora Country Club is noted for its true putting surfaces and consistently excellent course conditions.

The club recently appointed architect Raymond Hearn to develop a master plan for renovation and restoration. This restoration project aims to recover the original design and character of Bendelow's layout while integrating modern golf equipment standards and contemporary maintenance practices.

Beyond golf, Aurora Country Club operates as a full-service private country club, offering three dining rooms, swimming pool, and tennis courts, serving as a gathering place for the local Chicagoland golfing community.
