Auburn Golf Course is nestled along the Green River in Auburn, Washington, and features an 18-hole par 71 course measuring just over 6,314 yards. The course sits on a 200-acre site along the Green River. Players navigate 20 bunkers, two ponds with fountains, and a waterfall, with the 16th hole serving as the signature hole. The course was designed by Proctor/Bauman.
The City of Auburn purchased the course in 1969 to establish a public recreational golf facility, and subsequently expanded it to 18 holes. The course features an unusual dual-elevation layout, with the first four holes at 250 to 400 feet above sea level and the remaining fourteen holes at approximately 50 feet elevation. The course has undergone extensive renovation including reconstruction of nine fairways, 15 greens, and 17 tee boxes, with recent additions of two new greens and forward tee boxes.
The course carries a slope rating of 120 from the middle tees and 123 from the back tees. Auburn Golf Course combines challenging elements with playability, appealing to players of all skill levels. The course hosts over 50,000 rounds of golf annually.
