Atkinson-Stuart Country Club

Atkinson-Stuart Country Club is a semi-private 9-hole golf course established in 1971 by its members in Nebraska. Located adjacent to scenic Mill Race Park, Lake & Campgrounds, the course features predominantly level terrain with notable elevation changes on the opening three holes. The first hole presents a dramatic feature—a knoll that golfers can either play over or attempt to carry, with the green situated 20 feet below.

The course is characterized by prairie meadows filled with native wildflowers and prairie grass that divide fairways and create challenging rough conditions. Trees including small cedars, pines, and cottonwoods line the fairways throughout. A recently constructed series of five interconnected, cascading ponds adds water hazards to four holes, significantly impacting course strategy and difficulty.

The course is known for its well-maintained conditioning and excellent greens. The combination of native prairie aesthetics, strategic water features, and varied terrain creates an engaging layout that challenges players while maintaining playability for all skill levels.
