Athabasca Golf & Country Club

Athabasca Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course located in northern Alberta, approximately 90 minutes north of Edmonton, situated in the Athabasca River valley. The par 72 course features multiple tee options with yardages ranging from 5,400 yards from the forward tees to over 7,000 yards from the championship tees, which carry a slope rating of 132.

Set amidst the boreal forest landscape, the course is designed as a challenging yet accessible layout for golfers of all skill levels. The design emphasizes working harmoniously with the natural environment to create a visually striking course. The layout is characterized by immaculate greens and is recognized as one of northern Alberta's premier golf courses.

The facility includes a clubhouse with an upscale restaurant called the Fox Den, which serves prime rib burgers, wings, and other dining options. A well-stocked pro shop is available on-site. The club hosts regular league play throughout the season, including Tuesday morning and evening leagues, Wednesday morning senior ladies league, and Thursday evening men's league.
