Ashburn Golf Club is a prestigious private golf club in Halifax, Nova Scotia, featuring two distinct 18-hole championship courses. The Old Course, originally designed by Stanley Thompson and established in 1896, is located minutes from downtown Halifax. This tight, strategic layout offers spectacular views of the city from its elevated positions. The New Course, designed by Geoffrey Cornish and opened in 1970, is situated approximately 35 kilometers north of Halifax in Fall River beside Kinsac Lake, providing a more expansive championship-length test. Both courses feature comprehensive practice facilities. The club gained prominence as the only Canadian stop on the Web.com Tour in 2014 and 2015, and hosted the Nova Scotia Open during that period. Ashburn holds distinction as Eastern Canada's only truly private golf club, combining two distinct golf experiences with modern clubhouse facilities at each location designed for both competitive play and member entertainment.
