Asahikawa International Country Club is a hillside course located in Aibetsu, Hokkaido, positioned between Asahikawa and Sounkyo on Route 39, which leads to Daisetsuzan National Park. The course offers panoramic views of the Daisetsuzan mountain range and overlooks the pristine Ishikari River below.

Designed by Yasuda Koukichi and opened in September 1965, the course features characteristically wide fairways typical of Hokkaido golf courses, separated by strategically placed trees. The design is considered one of Yasuda's masterworks. The surrounding area, known as Hasunayama, is designated as a wildlife protection zone.

As a hillside course, it presents moderate terrain challenges while maintaining playability. The combination of open fairways and tree-lined corridors creates a balanced test of golf. The natural landscape, featuring both mountain vistas and river views, provides an aesthetically appealing setting. The course accommodates a membership of approximately 1,183 members and continues to host official competitions and open tournaments.
