Arrowhead Pointe Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course designed by Bob Walker in 2001, located within Richard B. Russell State Park near Elberton, Georgia. The course measures 6,800 yards with a par of 72, a rating of 72.3, and a slope of 133. Set in the Northeast Georgia mountains, the course offers a secluded setting free from typical distractions. Ten of the eighteen holes skirt the shoreline of Lake Richard B. Russell, providing scenic views throughout the round. The course features elevation changes, doglegs, strategically placed bunkers, and Tifeagle Bermuda greens with subtle breaks that demand precision play. While water features are present, they do not heavily impact play on most holes. The elevation and design challenge golfers to use their full arsenal of clubs. The facility includes a renovated café and golf shop with multiple vendors. Arrowhead Pointe has received significant recognition, including ranking 16th among Georgia courses by GOLFPASS Golfers' Choice 2021 and appearing in TravelGolf.com's Top 10 Georgia courses, being the only public course on that elite list.
