Arrowhead Country Club (ACC) is a historic 18-hole golf course in San Bernardino, California, designed by legendary architect William P. Bell and opened in 1928. Originally launched as a 9-hole course with sand greens in 1924, it was expanded into its current championship layout. The course plays 6,619 yards and winds through mature landscaping featuring hundred-year-old oak, pine, and sycamore trees, creating a distinctive setting within the region.
The course is characterized by exceptional green structures with subtle contours and undulations that guard lush bent grass greens, presenting a significant putting challenge. The terrain and design create a moderately difficult layout that rewards precision play. ACC transitioned from a private equity club to semi-private status in 2017, welcoming public play while maintaining its prestigious heritage. The club celebrates over 100 years of golf history and has been associated with notable golfers, including PGA legend David Stockton, who developed his putting skills at the course. Today, ACC operates as both a golf destination and event venue while preserving its storied California golf legacy.
