Angel Fire Country Club ☆ Follow

Designed by Paul Ortiz, the Angel Fire Resort golf course opened in 1972. The 18-hole course features 6,655 yards of golf for a par of 72. The club is situated at 8,600 feet elevation, with views of Wheeler Peak–the tallest peak in New Mexico. Located 40 minutes east of Taos, in Angel Fire, New Mexico, Angel Fire Resort Country Club features 18-holes of golf surrounded by the Southern Rockies and numerous national forests.

The front nine incorporates a longer-playing layout that meanders through two unspoiled canyons of aspen, spruce, and pine, while the back nine offers links-style play with smaller greens and plenty of bunkers. The signature 6th hole features a tee box soaring 200 vertical feet above the green – 250 yards away. Rated as one of the top 5 courses in New Mexico and one of the top high-elevation courses in the country by Golf America, the Angel Fire Resort Golf Course & Country Club is a great value. The course is open May 15 to November 1.
