Angel Fire Country Club ☆ Follow

Designed by Paul Ortiz, the Angel Fire Resort golf course opened in 1972. The 18-hole course features 6,655 yards of golf for a par of 72. The club is situated at 8,600 feet elevation, with views of Wheeler Peak-the tallest peak in New Mexico. Located 40 minutes east of Taos, in Angel Fire, New Mexico, Angel Fire Resort Country Club features 18-holes of golf surrounded by the Southern Rockies and numerous national forests.

The front nine incorporates a longer-playing layout that meanders through two unspoiled canyons of aspen, spruce, and pine, while the back nine offers links-style play with smaller greens and plenty of bunkers. The signature 6th hole features a tee box soaring 200 vertical feet above the green - 250 yards away. Rated as one of the top 5 courses in New Mexico and one of the top high-elevation courses in the country by Golf America, the Angel Fire Resort Golf Course & Country Club is a great value. The course is open May 15 to November 1.
