The 18-hole American Legion course features 5,634 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course opened in 1937. The golf course is characterized by its Parkland-style design with lush fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and relatively large greens, with a balanced mix of shorter and longer holes and well-manicured fairways bordered by mature trees. The course rating is 66.5 and it has a slope rating of 92.

For high handicap players, the course offers multiple tee boxes on each hole with wider fairways and fewer forced carries, making it more forgiving for errant shots. Low handicap players will find opportunities to test their skills through well-placed hazards, water hazards, undulating greens, and larger greens that allow for a variety of pin placements.

The course is complemented by a range of amenities including a well-equipped pro shop, a clubhouse providing comfortable space for post-round relaxation and dining, and practice facilities such as a driving range, putting green, and chipping area.
