Alpine Country Club is a private 18-hole golf course located in Highland, Utah, at the base of American Fork Canyon with spectacular Wasatch Mountain views. Founded in 1958 by renowned local designer William Neff Sr., the course opened in 1959 with nine holes each in spring and early summer.
The course presents moderate to challenging play with undulating fairways and strategic green complexes. Notable design work includes holes 11, 12, and 13, redesigned by acclaimed architect John Fought in 2008 to reflect contemporary golf course design principles. A comprehensive bunker renovation was completed in 2018.
Alpine has hosted eight Utah Men's State Amateur tournaments and numerous UGA, PGA, and charitable competitions since 1970. The club features a modern clubhouse completed in 1998, state-of-the-art aquatics complex opened in 2012, and multiple dining options. A significant golf course renovation project designed by John Fought is scheduled to begin in July 2025, including an updated practice facility and course enhancements. The club is managed by Troon Privé and emphasizes a family-oriented atmosphere with golf as its primary focus.
