Allentown Municipal Golf Course ☆ Follow

Allentown Municipal Golf Course is an 18-hole course featuring 6,763 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. From the Championship set of tees, the course plays 6,845 yards with a rating of 72.4 and slope of 132. Originally opened in 1952, the course has since been reconstructed with new tees and greens, sculptured bunkers, fairway irrigation, and two ponds. Large well-trapped greens, tree lined fairways and five tee positions create a fun and challenging round of golf.

The facility features a lighted driving range with a new hybrid hitting surface installed and a short game practice area with two additional practice putting greens. The course is located at 3400 Tilghman Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and operates as a municipal public facility. The course hosts competitive events including the Allentown City Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
