Located on NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach, Aeropines Golf Club boasts 36 holes of championship golf with two 18-hole courses named after the F-18 Hornet and F-14 Tomcat aircraft. The Hornet Course, designed by Jerry Pate, is a links-style course winding through wetlands and native grasses, while the Tomcat Course, renovated by Tom Clark, is a traditional parkland-style course moving through old-growth pines. Both are par 72 courses, each with four sets of tees, offering challenges for advanced, intermediate, and beginning golfers.
Both courses feature Mini Verde Bermudagrass greens providing superior putting surfaces throughout the hot and humid Virginia summers. The facility includes a 60,000 square foot grass driving range, multiple practice putting greens, and a short game green with practice bunker. For instruction, the club has a three-bay indoor teaching studio with teaching technology, climate control, and a fitness room. Aeropines hosts more than 40 events annually for Naval Commands and civilian charities.
