Abitibi Golf Club

Abitibi Golf Club is a 9-hole public course located in Iroquois Falls, Ontario, established in 1921. The layout measures just under 3,000 yards and is situated in the center of town, approximately ten minutes from Highway 11. The course features a relatively compact design that accommodates golfers of all ages and skill levels, offering an easy walk while providing reasonable challenge through its fairways, water hazards, and sand traps.

The course is recognized as one of the best-conditioned facilities in Northeastern Ontario. The terrain is suited for family golf outings with its accessible length and varied obstacles. Amenities include a modern, spacious licensed clubhouse and an extensive pro shop. Power carts are available for rent, and tee-time reservations are required.

The club operates as a not-for-profit entity with volunteer board management, maintaining affordable green fees and rental rates. Regular league play includes men's nights on Tuesdays, mixed leagues on Wednesdays, and ladies' nights on Thursdays, with special promotions offered on Fridays. The facility is noted for its welcoming atmosphere and well-maintained conditions throughout the season.
