Aberdeen Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 Scottish links-style championship course located in Eureka, Missouri, along the Meramec River floodplain. Designed by renowned architect Gary Kern, the course features rolling zoysia fairways, native grass surrounds, traditional sod-wall bunkering, two strategically placed lakes, and smooth bentgrass greens set against dramatic river bluff backdrops.
The layout captures the strategy and character of classic Scottish golf despite Missouri's inland location. With six sets of tees, the course accommodates players of all skill levels while presenting a genuine challenge to experienced golfers. The ever-changing conditions and natural contours encourage creative play and strategic shot-making.
Aberdeen has established itself as a competitive venue, hosting multiple USGA qualifiers including the U.S. Amateur Qualifier (2021), the Metropolitan Amateur Championship (2019), and USGA U.S. Open, Mid-Amateur, and Junior Amateur qualifying tournaments. The club maintains premium playing conditions and has been voted Best Public Golf Course in St. Louis multiple times. As a proud USGA partner, Aberdeen remains committed to supporting elite amateur competition while providing an authentic Scottish golf experience.
