Añoreta Golf is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course located in Rincón de la Victoria, in the Axarquía district east of Málaga on the Costa del Sol. Opened in 1990, it was designed by José María Cañizares — the Ryder Cup champion — and holds the distinction of being the first golf course built in the Axarquía region. The course measures up to 6,016 metres from the back tees (approximately 6,580 yards) and plays across gently undulating terrain bordered by citrus trees, palms, and flowering vegetation.

Water features prominently throughout, appearing at 11 holes and contributing significantly to the course's challenge. Standout holes include the 7th, a short par 4 offering panoramic Mediterranean Sea views, and the par-3 17th, which is bordered by a large lake and considered one of the most demanding holes on the card. The 9th, another long par 3 with a water hazard, similarly tests accuracy off the tee. The greens, re-laid with Bermuda grass in 2019, are undulating and well-bunkered. With a slope rating of 137, the course presents a meaningful challenge while remaining accessible to players of varying ability.
