Junior Open Strokeplay competition at Silverdale Golf Club. Individual strokeplay format open to junior golfers. Tee times run from 11:00 to 13:00. Entry fee is £12.00 for visitors and £7.00 for members. Entries must be paid in full at the time of online booking. Cancellations must be requested by phone on 01524 701300; cancellations made less than one month before the event date will forfeit the entry fee. Players should report to the Pro Shop before beginning their round. Smart casual golf attire and recognised golf shoes are required. The booking is transferable if you are unable to attend. Handicap requirements: men must have a handicap of 28 or less, ladies must have a handicap of 36 or less. If you don't have a handicap, you must be able to play to an acceptable standard.

Silverdale Golf Club is located in Lancashire within the Arnside and Silverdale AONB, adjacent to the Leighton Moss RSPB reserve. The course is set in a stunning landscape with expansive views across Morecambe Bay and towards the Cumbrian Howgill Fells. The course is noted for its beautiful design, with exceptional green quality and varied hole characteristics that create an interesting and engaging round. While the course offers opportunities for birdies, it also presents challenging holes, making it appealing to golfers of all abilities and ages. The changing character of each hole ensures players remain engaged throughout their round. Silverdale has established itself as a welcoming club, earning recognition as the "friendly" club and actively welcoming visitors of all ages. The course maintains excellent condition year-round, with particular attention during winter months when it remains one of the few courses open for play, attracting many seasonal visitors. The recently refurbished clubhouse features a bar and restaurant offering drinks, snacks, and full meals to visitors and members alike.
