Winter Open #1 is a Four Ball Betterball competition open to both gentlemen and ladies at Silverdale Golf Club, taking place on Saturday 17th October 2026 with a start time of 08:00. The event is played in pairs format with betterball scoring (each side of two players competes, with the better score on each hole counting). Entry is available online via the club's booking system. Green fees are £18.00 for visitors and £10.00 for members. Players must hold a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies), or be able to play to an acceptable standard if without a handicap. Payment is required in full at the time of booking. Visitors are expected to observe the club's dress code and etiquette, wearing recognised golf attire and golf shoes. The event is open to all visiting non-member golfers.
