The Ladies Open Texas Scramble takes place on 28 August 2026 at Cleveland Golf Club. The format is Texas Scramble Strokeplay with teams of 4 players. Each player must contribute a minimum of 4 tee shots during the round. The entry fee is £20.00 per person (£80.00 per team). Booking closes on 21 August 2026 at 19:00. All players must be members of a recognised golf club; i-golfers (those without a club affiliation) are not eligible. The maximum individual World Handicap Index is 21.6; higher handicaps may participate but will be capped at 21.6. Handicap allowance for the team is calculated as 25% (lowest) + 20% + 15% + 10% (highest handicap). To qualify for prizes, all 4 team members must have submitted at least 6 qualifying cards (not general play rounds) in the last 12 months; this will be verified for teams finishing in prize positions.

Cleveland Golf Club, established in 1887, is North Yorkshire's only true championship links course and the oldest golf course in the county. Located in Redcar, the course was designed by renowned architects Old Tom Morris and Harry S Colt, with Donald Steel adding three new holes in 2000. The layout comprises 18 holes characteristic of traditional links golf, featuring natural terrain with bunkers and undulating greens typical of the links style. The course has hosted numerous prestigious events, including the English Golf Union County Finals (2007), Yorkshire County Team Championship (2011), and the Yorkshire Amateur Championship (2017). It serves as the home venue for the Cleveland Salver, an amateur scratch competition. The course is noted for its challenging conditions and quality design, with a course record of 62 set during the 2017 Yorkshire Amateur Championship. As a championship links, Cleveland Golf Club presents significant difficulty for golfers of all abilities, with the characteristic hazards and demanding layout of links golf. The club regularly hosts county and professional events and welcomes visiting parties and societies alongside its membership program.
