The Ladies Open Tri-Am takes place on Thursday 27 August 2026 at Broomieknowe Golf Club (Red/Ladies tees), Bonnyrigg, United Kingdom. The event is a 3-player team competition using betterball strokeplay scoring, with the best 1 score from 3 team members counting per hole. Each competitor receives 70% of their course playing handicap. The maximum course playing handicap allowance per individual team member is 36 strokes (equivalent to a WHS Handicap Index of 32.5); competitors with a higher index may still enter but will be capped at 36 strokes. Entry is restricted to amateur competitors holding a current WHS Handicap Index issued through a recognised affiliated golf club — those with a handicap issued directly by a national body are not eligible. Tee times run from 08:00 to 14:00 on a startsheet basis. Booking closes at 08:00 on 26 August 2026. Visitor entry fee: £20.00, payable at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event receive a full refund; no refund is issued within 14 days of the event. A full refund is given if the club cancels the competition (e.g. course deemed unplayable). Catering is available in the clubhouse from 09:00; meal reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 0131 663 9317 (Option 3). Buggies are limited to 3 club hire units; competitors wishing to use a buggy (club or personal) must provide proof of eligibility for competition use — check availability with the professional in advance. Prizes are Scottish Golf Vouchers. The competition committee's decisions are final on all matters.
