The 2026 Senior Open Better Ball takes place at Hull Golf Club on Tuesday 14th July 2026. This is a four-ball betterball (4BBB) Stableford competition for senior men. Players compete in pairs, with the better score of each team member counting on each hole. Players receive 85% of their handicap as allowance. Men will play from the Yellow tees. Entering score: Players must enter their scores on the IG App via mobile device or PSI Terminal. If the score and signed scorecard is not returned into the competition scorecard box and entered before 23:59 on the day of the tournament, the players will be disqualified and will not receive any prize or 2s club. The competition is governed by the Rules of Golf as set by the R&A, including any Local Rules provided at registration. An air horn will signal suspension (3 consecutive blasts) and resumption (2 short blasts) of play. The Competition Committee's decisions on all matters will be final. Entry fee is £50.00 per team. Prizes are awarded to 1st-8th place, with a Nearest the Pins competition on the 8th and 13th holes. Online signup is available and closes at 12:00 am on 14/07/2026.
