The course is known for its variety in design, featuring undulating terrain that presents diverse challenges throughout the layout. The opening four holes exemplify this variety, offering different distances, elevation changes, and par configurations that set the tone for the challenges ahead. Hull Golf Club has a proud tradition of hosting regional and county amateur and professional tournaments. The course is complemented by comprehensive practice facilities, including two grass practice tees and an indoor swing analysis centre. The club benefits from instruction by four PGA professionals and operates a golf academy designed to enhance players' skills across all aspects of the game, from driving to short-game development.
