Vets Team Open - A charity team open day supporting St Christopher's Hospice. Teams of four veteran golfers (aged 60 or over) play an 18-hole Stableford Team Waltz 123 competition (betterball format) using full course handicap. The entry fee is £165 per team (£55 per person). Entry is by email to Ian Johnson (Vets Captain) at maestrojonno@yahoo.co.uk or by post with cheque/bank transfer. Closing date is Monday 3rd August 2026 or when fully subscribed. Schedule includes 8am registration with tea/coffee and bacon rolls, 9am first tee time, and a 2:30pm two-course meal followed by awards presentation. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams, plus individual awards for Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin on all 4 par 3s. Players must have a WHS Handicap Index with a maximum playing handicap of 28.

Cherry Lodge Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Biggin Hill, Kent, with over 50 years of history. The course features an 18th hole that is a par 4 measuring 286 yards, noted as drivable from the tee.
