The J.B. Ipsen Memorial tournament, established in 1977, is a major annual event at Manjimup Country Club. The 2026 tournament runs from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th October. The event includes a Friday 4BBB Stableford competition (Ladies, Gents or Mixed team) and a Scroungers 18-hole Stableford on Tuesday 20th October. The main event is a two-day competition on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October: Ladies play 36-hole Stableford and Gents play 36-hole Strokeplay. Entry fees are $50 for Friday (includes evening meal) and $125 for the weekend (includes Saturday evening meal and Sunday meal). An optional $50 ultimate birdie jackpot is available. Entrants must have an approved handicap and be financial members of a golf club; non-members with proof of handicap are accepted. Trophies are awarded, with no player eligible for more than one trophy. Dress code is neat and tidy golf attire.
