The Ely City Junior Open (Handicaps 0-18) is an 18-hole individual medal (strokeplay) competition open to boys and girls with a handicap index of 18 or lower, held at Ely City Golf Club, Ely, England. Boys play from the White tees and girls from the Red tees; a handicap allowance of 95% applies. A one-course meal is included following your round. The entry fee is £25.00. Ely City Golf Club is a 72-par parkland course designed by Henry Cotton, located on the outskirts of Ely, Cambridgeshire. The course measures 6,279 yards from the standard tees, extending to 6,537 yards from the white tees, providing a moderate challenge for golfers of varying abilities. Set in a parkland setting, the course features typical characteristics of Cotton's design philosophy, incorporating strategic bunkering and well-defined fairways. The layout includes 18 holes with notable features such as bunker work that has been recently undertaken on various holes, including the 5th hole which was temporarily shortened during maintenance. The course is complemented by on-site practice facilities and a clubhouse with catering facilities. Ely City Golf Club welcomes both members and visitors, offering a complete golfing experience.
