Fall Captain's Choice

The Fall Captain's Choice takes place September 19–20, 2026 at Mountain Glen Golf Club in Newland, NC. This is a two-person Captain's Choice (best-shot scramble) event, open to members and non-members. Teams are pre-flighted based on handicap. A GHIN number or official handicap index is required for all players. Tee assignments: women play the red tees; men aged 64 and under play the white tees; men aged 65–79 play the gold tees; men aged 80 and over play the red tees. An optional skins game is available for an additional $40 per player per round. Entry fees: member with private cart $120 per player; member $160 per player; non-member $230 per player. To enter, complete the entry form and return it with a cheque made payable to Mountain Glen Golf Club – Fall Captain's Choice 26, P.O. Box 326, Newland, NC 28657. Your completed entry form must be received to hold your spot. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 14 days of the event.
