Team Championship

The Team Championship is a three-day, two-person team event held August 7–9, 2026 at Mountain Glen Golf Club, Newland, NC. The competition uses a multi-format structure: Round 1 is Better Ball, Round 2 is Scramble, and Round 3 is Alternate Shot. Teams are pre-flighted based on handicap. A GHIN number or official handicap index is required to enter. Tee assignments are based on age: men 64 and under play the white tees, men 65–79 play the gold tees, and men 80 and over play the red tees. Entry fees are $220 per player (member with private cart), $280 per player (member), or $350 per player (non-member); fees include tournament rounds, closest-to-the-pin contests, and tee gifts. An additional team buy-in of $100 per player is payable at check-in. To enter, complete the entry form and return it with a check made payable to Mountain Glen Golf Club – Team Championship 26, P.O. Box 326, Newland, NC 28657. No refunds are issued for cancellations within 14 days of the event.
