Woodlake Park Golf Club

Usk, Gwent, Wales

Woodlake Park Golf Club is situated in 140 acres of outstanding natural beauty in Gwent, Monmouthshire, overlooking the spectacular Llandegfedd reservoir with views extending to the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, and the Vale of Usk. Located near Usk, approximately 20 minutes from Junction 24 of the M4, the course offers a rural and peaceful setting despite its proximity to major transport links. The championship standard course is characterized by challenging terrain with no flat lies on the fairways, demanding precise tee placement from golfers. The course is renowned for its superb receptive greens, which are consistently maintained in excellent condition. The dramatic landscape and elevation changes across the site create a demanding layout that appeals to golfers of varying abilities, from high handicappers to experienced players. The rolling hillside setting within the Vale of Usk provides distinctive vistas throughout the round, with the Llandegfedd reservoir forming a prominent visual feature. The combination of challenging playability and scenic beauty makes Woodlake Park Golf Club a notable inland course in South Wales, accommodating both individual visitors and societies.
