Founded in 1909, Moortown Golf Club was designed by renowned architect Dr Alister MacKenzie, who also created Augusta National and Cypress Point. Moortown holds a prominent position among England's finest championship courses and is particularly notable for hosting the first Ryder Cup match on British soil in 1929.
