18-hole individual Stableford competition for senior men (55+ at date of competition) at Burnham Beeches Golf Club, played off Yellow tees from the 1st and 10th tees with a 95% handicap allowance. Maximum handicap index is 25.5; players with a higher index may enter but will play off the 25.5 limit. Entry fee is £73.50 per person (visitor fee), which includes coffee/tea and a bacon roll on arrival, a 2-course meal, and prizes. Online entry closes at 11:59 pm on 2 September 2026. The event is limited to 72 players; if oversubscribed, a ballot will be conducted based on entry received date. No refunds will be made after the draw is posted. Payment must be made online at the time of entry. The competition is eligible for handicap purposes. No competitor may take more than one prize. Ties will be decided on the last 9, 6, 3, and 1 holes. The committee reserves the right to alter the conditions of play, and their decision on any point is final. Entries are strictly limited, and a draw will be made for playing opponents unless otherwise requested.

Burnham Beeches Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 70 parkland course measuring around 6,365 to 6,458 yards, located in Burnham, South Buckinghamshire, and founded in 1891 as the oldest golf club in the county. The course was originally designed by J.H. Taylor, the five-time Open Champion, who also advised on revisions in 1902 and 1907. The layout sits on naturally draining gravel soil within and alongside the historic Burnham Beeches woodland, a 540-acre Site of Special Scientific Interest owned by the City of London Corporation. The course was built on land leased from the Burnham Trust until 2014, when the club purchased the land outright. Over 3,000 additional trees were planted in the 1960s, further densening the woodland character of the course. The terrain is undulating throughout, with intensely tree-lined fairways framing virtually every hole. The absence of water hazards means that trees and well-placed bunkers are the primary defensive features, with the course rewarding accurate positioning off the tee over raw distance. The gravel subsoil provides good drainage and the course typically plays well year-round. The stroke index one hole is the 440-yard 12th, a dogleg left with a blind tee shot over a ridge. The elevated tee on the par five 4th is widely noted as one of the most striking vantage points on the course, with views down through trees and fern-covered ground. The 13th is a challenging par three with four bunkers guarding a blind green along the course boundary. In terms of tournament history, the club hosted the White Horse Whisky Challenge in 1984, a WPGA Tour event won by Italian professional Federica Dassù. Luke Donald set a four-round course record of 270 during a regional amateur event in June 1997. The club has also hosted professional, national, and county competitions at various points in its history.
