Golf Week at St Austell Golf Club runs from Saturday 22nd August to Friday 28th August 2026, comprising seven separate open competitions across the week — one each day. Each day has a different format and scoring system, as follows: Saturday 22 Aug: Golf Week Trophy – Individual Medal (Scratch & Nett), sponsored by Carlsberg Group; Sunday 23 Aug: Team of Four – Scramble; Monday 24 Aug: Better Ball Stableford (Pairs); Tuesday 25 Aug: Team of Three (Waltz) – Stableford, sponsored by St Austell Brewery; Wednesday 26 Aug: Pairs Scramble, sponsored by Consultancy and Design UK; Thursday 27 Aug: Team of Three (Two Scores) – Stableford, sponsored by Consultancy and Design UK; Friday 28 Aug: Team of Four (Two Scores) – Stableford, sponsored by Mike Martin Windows & Doors. St Austell Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located just outside St Austell in Cornwall, designed by the renowned architect James Braid. The course measures 6,042 yards and plays to a par of 69, offering a challenge suited to golfers of all ability levels. Set within the Cornish countryside, the course features wonderful views across the surrounding landscape. The parkland setting provides a picturesque golfing environment characteristic of James Braid's design philosophy. As a member of the Association of James Braid Courses, the club maintains the heritage of this notable designer's work. The course welcomes both members and visitors, with facilities including a driving range equipped with Toptracer technology for practice and analysis. The club offers a warm and friendly atmosphere and serves as a venue for competitive play, including open competitions and society days. The clubhouse provides bar and restaurant facilities along with meeting rooms for private events. Located half a mile down Tregongeeves Lane from the A390, the club is well-positioned to serve golfers from across Cornwall and the Southwest.
