The Saunton Challenge Cup is a 36-hole individual medal (strokeplay) competition played on Sunday 26 July 2026 at Saunton Golf Club, open to men only. The first round is played on the West Course and the second round on the East Course, with the second tee time approximately 5 hours after the first. Entry is restricted to players holding a WHS handicap index of 10.0 or below at the time of entry. The field is capped at 72 players; if oversubscribed, the 72 players with the lowest handicap indexes will be accepted by ballot. Start times are allocated in handicap order, lowest first. The draw is made 10 days prior to the competition. A 95% handicap allowance applies. Entry closes at 10:00 pm on 15 July 2026. The entry fee is £100.00 for visitors and £25.00 for members. Both scratch and nett prizes are awarded. Players requiring a disability buggy must notify Saunton Golf Club in advance and supply a relevant doctor's certificate at least seven days before the event.
