The West Herts Golf Club Junior Open 2026 takes place on Monday 17th August 2026 at West Herts Golf Course. The competition is an 18-hole individual medal (strokeplay) with a handicap allowance of 95%, with both scratch and handicap prizes. Open to juniors who are under 18 years of age as of 1 January 2026. Maximum Handicap Index: 25.5 for boys, 33.8 for girls. A valid CDH ID is required to enter; independent golfers (those not affiliated to a golf club) are not eligible. International players must use the downloadable entry form rather than the online signup. The entry fee of £40 includes prizes, on-course refreshments, and lunch. Entries are limited to 60 and will be accepted in the order received. The closing date for entries is Sunday 9th August 2026; online signup closes at 9:00am on 10th August 2026. All entrants must download, complete, and return the consent form. The draw and start sheet will be posted on the website and sent by email during the week commencing Monday 10th August. No competitor may win more than one main prize. The competition is a qualifier for both the Hertfordshire Golf Order of Merit 2026 and the Justin Rose Telegraph Junior Championship 2026.
