The Mendip Vase 4BBB Open is a four-ball better ball stableford competition open to men and ladies of any combination, played at The Mendip Golf Club on Friday 4th September 2026. Tees used are White (Men) and Red (Ladies), with a handicap allowance of 85%. Entry fee is £44.00 per visitor (required on entry, i.e. all team places must be filled at time of booking). The Mendip Golf Club is an 18-hole Par 71 course located in Gurney Slade, Somerset, set in a tranquil downland landscape with magnificent panoramic views. Originally established as a 9-hole course in 1908, it has been continuously developed and improved into its current 18-hole layout. The course features springy downland turf fairways that provide an enjoyable walking experience. The club operates as a members' course open to visitors and hosts various open competitions throughout the year, including Texas Scrambles and county championships.
