Leven Links Golf Course

Leven, Fife, Scotland

Leven Links is one of Scotland's oldest links courses, with golf dating back to the mid-1800s. The course is notable for being thought to be the first in the world to feature 18 separate tees and greens. Located in Leven, Fife, it is a traditional links characterized by rolling fairways lined with ancient sand dunes, fast putting surfaces, burns, and pot bunkers. The course has served as a six-time Open Championship final qualifying venue, demonstrating its championship credentials. It continues to host leading amateur events and international matches. The layout presents a fair test of golf, with interesting holes that reward strategic play. The setting offers views of the water and the surrounding community of Largo. Leven Links is notable for its unique dual-club arrangement, with both Leven Golfing Society and Leven Thistle Golf Club playing over the same links.
