The Battle of Knistad

A fun, novelty golf competition at Knistad Golf & Country Club played under the hosts' own quirky special rules. Individual modified points-bogey (poängbogey) format with special rules: you may kick the ball twice, throw it once, and invoke the 'Arsellängd' rule up to twice to move the ball up to an arm's length (even into a hole). Up to 15 points can be scored on a single hole. The field is also split into 'Team Patron' and 'Team Steffo' for a parallel team element, with the winning team's flag raised on the manor house. Schedule: gather 9:00, shotgun start 10:00, aftergolf 15:00, followed by dinner, party and prize-giving. The package includes a fine prize board for all participants, dinner and party hosted by Patron and Steffo Törnquist, live music by Johanna Beijbom, a double room and breakfast buffet. Price is 2,995 SEK per person; single-room supplement 500 SEK per night/person; an extra night (Friday-Saturday) is available for 800 SEK per person in a double room including breakfast. Team choice is made at booking. Open online booking is available.
