Shropshire, England

Shrewsbury Golf Club, founded in 1891, is a mature parkland course featuring tree-lined fairways and fast greens with subtle borrows. Located in Condover near Shrewsbury, the course offers an 18-hole layout with contrasting characteristics across its two nines. The front nine presents flat, lush fairways, while the back nine features undulating terrain with stunning views across surrounding hills. The course is designed to challenge accomplished golfers, with well-draining greens and tees that facilitate year-round play without temporary closures. The established trees and parkland setting create an attractive golfing environment, while the elevation changes on the back nine add strategic complexity. Shrewsbury Golf Club maintains first-class clubhouse facilities and practice amenities. The course is accessible to visitors and societies, and the club also hosts open competitions throughout the year.
