Gents pairs open competition played as a four-ball betterball (4BBB) stableford at Selby Golf Club. Two-player teams tee off from the 1st tee, with the first tee time at 09:00 and slots running at 8-minute intervals. Maximum handicap index of 15 applies to each player. All entrants must be members of an affiliated golf club and, to be eligible to win a prize, each player must have submitted a minimum of six fully completed 18-hole rounds for WHS handicap purposes in the preceding twelve months, including at least three from competition play; if one member of a team has not met this, the whole team is ineligible to win. The entry fee includes a coffee and bacon sandwich on arrival. Online booking is available via the club's BRS booking platform.
