Old Fold Manor Golf Course

Hadley Green, Barnet, Greater London, England

Old Fold Manor Golf Course is located in Hadley Green, Barnet, Hertfordshire, and is renowned as one of the best courses in the region. Designed by legendary golf course architect Harry Colt, the course reflects his philosophy of bringing a seaside links feel to inland layouts. Colt's influence is particularly evident in the course's famous greens, which present a significant challenge to players. The course features challenging inland conditions with links-style characteristics that distinguish it from typical parkland designs. Old Fold Manor's reputation is underscored by its selection to host Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship from 2005 to 2010, demonstrating its championship-standard design and conditioning. The layout incorporates Colt's strategic design principles, creating a course that rewards skilled play while testing golfers of various abilities. The combination of challenging greens and the introduced seaside links elements makes the course notably difficult and distinctive within Hertfordshire golf. Old Fold Manor welcomes both members and visitors, offering an engaging test of golf complemented by excellent practice facilities and a charming clubhouse environment.
