Aberdovey Golf Club

Gwynedd, Wales

Aberdovey Golf Club is a championship links course established in 1892, making it one of the oldest courses in Wales and the birthplace of the Welsh Golfing Union. Located within Snowdonia National Park at the mouth of the Dovey Estuary, the course offers enchanting views across the estuary and foothills of the Cambrian Mountains. Consistently ranked in the Top 100 courses of the UK & Ireland and most recently ranked 3rd in Wales by National Club Golfer, Aberdovey presents a challenging championship-standard layout matched to its spectacular setting. The course is characterized by scenic estuary views and the natural terrain of its Welsh coastal location. The club has hosted numerous national events throughout its history and currently serves as the host venue for the Welsh Seniors' Championship. The setting combines matchless landscape qualities with significant golfing challenge, attracting players who appreciate both the course design and its distinctive Welsh environment.
