Two-day Fish & Golf event at Grand View Lodge. Saturday (Sept 25) is a 6-hour fishing session at Grand View Beach starting at 10 am, with weigh-ins at 4:00 PM; fishing points are based on species and total weight. Dinner and the fishing results are held at Freddy's Sports Grill. Sunday (Sept 26) is a 3-person scramble on The Pines starting at 9 am, with lunch and awards following the round. Teams must register with a full 3-player team. Cost is $250 per person. Registration information becomes available in January 2027.

The Pines, designed by Joel Goldstrand and opened in 1990, is a 27-hole championship golf course located in Nisswa, Minnesota in the Brainerd Lakes Area. The course consists of three 9-hole landscapes designed as a championship par 72 course set in Minnesota's rich landscape of forest. The Pines offers the Lakes, Woods, and Marsh nines, providing a challenging variety of holes, with five tees at each hole offering flexibility for all skill levels. The Lakes/Woods nines comprise what Grand View Lodge refers to as its 'players' course, but the Marsh nine also rotates into the mix, and the course is ranked among Minnesota's best. The course was ranked inside the top 10 from 1993-'95 and inside the top 15 in 1997 and 2007. The practice facility features multiple putting greens, a two-sided driving range, and a complete short game practice area.
