Fort Sill Golf Course

Fort Still, OK, United States

The Fort Sill Golf Club was designed in 1946 and features an 18-hole golf course with a par of 72 and measures over sixty-five hundred yards from the back tees. The course was designed by Ralph Lefty Mace and Bland Pittman. The Fort Sill Golf Club is a parkland wooded course, rare to southwest Oklahoma, with Burr Oaks and numerous types of nut trees lining the fairways. Medicine Creek flows throughout the beautiful back nine of the Fort Sill Golf Club. Historical sites lie in and around the golf course boundaries, including Flipper's ditch, which crosses the 15th and 16th fairways, and General Custer's Bivouac, which was located on the 14th fairway. The course offers a driving range, practice putting and pitching green, Pro Shop, carts, rental clubs, Mulligan's snack bar, and banquet facilities, along with junior golf clinics, lessons, and evening scrambles.
