Rotherham Golf Club

South Yorkshire, England

Rotherham Golf Club is set within one of Yorkshire's finest historic parklands and is regarded as one of the county's premier golf courses. The course was designed by Open Champion Sandy Herd and revered architect James Braid, and has provided a challenging test of golf for over a century. Located in Thrybergh, South Yorkshire, the parkland setting offers tranquil surroundings with scenic landscape characteristics typical of the region. The course has earned praise from internationally renowned golfers, including Lee Westwood and Danny Willett. Described as one of the finest parkland courses in the region, Rotherham Golf Club presents a genuine test of golf skill. The club features a Neo-Gothic clubhouse, originally Thrybergh Hall, which complements the course setting. The venue welcomes both members and visitors, offering well-maintained playing conditions with particular note given to the quality of the greens. The historic clubhouse serves as both a golfing facility and events venue, licensed for civil ceremonies and private functions.
