28th Annual Turkey Shoot Tournament at Cross Creek Golf Course, a 2-person scramble over 18 holes with a shotgun start at 8:30 AM on Sunday, November 15th, 2026. All players compete for net, gross and hole prizes, and the entry fee includes a green fee, snacks, prizes and a chance to win a turkey. Entry is $85 per player plus a can of food per person (cans can be turned in at registration on the day). Applications are limited to the first 120 players to pay fees, and players may sign up as a team or as a single to be paired with another player. The deadline to sign up is Friday, November 6th. Food and a portion of the proceeds go to provide Thanksgiving dinners for needy families in Polk County through the Dallas Food Bank, and a portion of the funds raised goes to St. Jude's.
