Garmouth & Kingston Golf Course

Moray, Scotland

Garmouth & Kingston Golf Course is an 18-hole course founded in 1932, featuring two distinctly different nines. The front nine is parkland-style while the back nine transitions to links terrain with panoramic views of the Moray region. Located along the west bank near the mouth of the River Spey, the course offers a unique combination of landscapes surrounded by river, sea, hills, and abundant wildlife including osprey. The course is designed to accommodate golfers of all abilities with minimal elevation changes, making it accessible for players with limited mobility. Buggies are available for those requiring assistance. Notable characteristics include the spectacular scenery and the opportunity to observe local wildlife during play. The relatively flat terrain along the river makes navigation straightforward despite the challenging design. The club welcomes visitors and emphasizes junior development through partnerships with local schools and community groups. The mature course layout demonstrates thoughtful design that balances challenge with playability, appealing to a broad spectrum of golfers while maintaining its natural riverside setting.
