Seascale Golf Club

Seascale, Cumbria, England

Seascale Golf Club is a traditional links course located on the west coast of Cumbria, England, offering panoramic views of the Isle of Man and Scotland to the west, with the Lake District mountains visible to the east. Founded in 1893, the course was designed by Willie Campbell and George Lowe as an 18-hole links layout. The course features distinctive hole names reflecting its landscape character, including Wasdale View, Stone Circle, and Punch Bowl. Maintained to championship standards, Seascale presents challenges suitable for golfers of all ability levels while preserving the classic links experience. The course has received significant recognition, including ranking among Rolex's World Top 1000 Golf Courses, appearing in the Top 100 Courses in England, and being rated number 85 Links course in Great Britain and Ireland. Its combination of traditional design, coastal setting, and well-maintained playing conditions establishes Seascale as a notable destination for links golf in northern England.
